Amongst the top food trends that we have identified, we are going to focus on those having the biggest positive impact on the consumer & planet.

We want to provide answers to Belgium’s & European food and beverages challenges by developing concrete use-cases & quicker innovation. Such a complex challenge needs to be tackled through collaboration & collective intelligence along the food value chain.

The way we work

The approach

 

Step 1

Map

In co-creation with the founding partners, we have identified the strategic priorities to focus on, and the consortia of companies that tackle them.

Step 2

Mark

During a concepting phase of 3 months, each consortium identified the key issues related to strategic priorities, who would be the beneficiaries and what would be a solution. We had 4 teams that delivered a deeply elaborated concepts, which included customer validation, a business model, financial plan, a roadmap and prototyping plan

Step 3

Move

1 of the 4 teams were selected to iterative test & build out their concept into an MVP. Nova Reperta innovation acted as an innovation coach throughout 7 months, and helped the consortia in the testing & development of their product/service, and in some cases in the set-up, launch & acceleration of start-ups.

 

Since mid 2020, 23 companies developed concrete use-cases & quicker innovation to provide answers to Belgium’s & European food and beverages challenges. A year later, we’re all gathering around the set of LN24 to talk about the co.food journey and the very first proof-of-concept.
